Ian, well done that man...
I used initially Mr Muscle Foam Oven Cleaner, after reading the instructions it seems its NOT abrasive, but foams the product to be cleaned and soaks into the deposits needed to be removed, left that on for 20mins.
I wash it all off and then let it dry in the sun.
I then applied a cheap Tesco Product, £1 spray bottle of Alloy Wheel Cleaner, Lurvly Pink liquid that works brilliantly (only got it cos wonder wheels was out of Stock ). Anyway, was so impressed with its cleaning power I bought 4 more bottles to stock up as its on a Special at the moment.
Heres the result of the 1st Alloy done, bearing in mind that between the spokes it was really suffering from Years of not really great cleaning skills. The Dimples were full of caked in Dust, BUT NOT NO MORE
+1 for the TFR, leave it on to soak, then blast it off with the FOC wagon wash!! The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Don't use WW on yer new shiney wheels J, it's brick cleaning fluid.
Now they're clean, put some good quality wax on to protect them and they should scrub up nicely next time.
I mean, it ain't like you do enough driving to get them dirty is it?
I'm only pulling ya leg by the way.
Don't forget you've now invalidated your warranty Welcome "Lola"

Once cleaned I use Poorboys - pink gunk, then just spray off any future brake dust with Pressure Washer.
Seems to last a couple of months before I need to reapply it.D4 HSE - Aintree Green

Yep, I know , Being an Inch Wider than D3 Alloys will give a great stance......Having the Wranglers put on tomorrow and re-balance, just hope my nuts are correct.
They are ALL Polished with AutoGlym Resin, and on the inside too, so hopefully keeping ontop of them now will mean I never have to worry about the cack build up
