| Some advice on cam shaft removal near side bank please |

Hi all,
I'm after some guidance on how to get the near side set of cams out, history is cam belt tension er bolt sheared and a small bang so thought i would have a look and with some sore knuckles and pointers from mikey covers off and found a broken rocker a stretched cam cap bolt.
Well since money is tight (when isn't it ) and there's no rush to be finished fast i can take my time.
Question is how do i get the cams out?
rear fuel pump belt is off, do i remove the cover bolts and take the lot off with the rear pulley or does the pulley come off and you slide the end out of the cover?
Its a D3 2005
Been looking around for guides but most start with the engine out and its easy that way i've only got the driveway.
Any advice gratefully received.
