Advice on best way to remove bonnet lining
I recently found out that I have heated washer jets on my HSE,but never realised cause in the 2 years that I've owned it they never worked(known fault apparently with D3 ones).Ordered some D4 ones to replace them with from TLO ,what's the best way to remove the lining on the underside of the bonnet, without damaging it ?,thanks

Pull the tabs out from the back part of the liner (ie the bottom end with the bonnet in the air) and you can reach the jets from underneath. No real need to remove all the liner or the clips.

You only need to remove the one tab either side on the bottom corner. Then untuck the insulation from the bottom on both sides, this gives ample enough room to unplug/remove/replace.
To get the push clips off I found that making sure the engine is still warm from a journey the plastic is nice and flexible, put your fingers under the insulation as far as you can around the clip, then pull.
Did mine today
Easy Access with One clip removed
Refitt
How long does it take you ask?, bout 3mins either side
But still have'nt found the definative answer on when do they work, my D3 ones never did.

Coincidence... just replaced mine this afternoon... I took the lining off as i knew I could probably manage by popping out the tabs at the bottom but wanted easy access. I used side cutters (snips) under the head of the clip and wiggled it out slowly. The barbs on the back did get a bit wrecked but not too bad, they went back in okay and all hold fine.
Now.. BRING ON THE SNOW

I thought the nozzle heaters came on below a pre-set temperature, irrespective of the program button?

Sorry , my little cockney sparrow ...you are wrong
They are controlled by the ambient temp and the wipers
