LRI have covered me off-road for the last 13 years ...and have paid out on an off-road related claim. Usual event and competition rules have always applied regardless.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I phoned twice today and asked the same question of two different reps. Both came back with the same answer...no can do! But yes, perhaps for new customers only!Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! The question has come up many times before ...how can they sell you an off road vehicle ....and then promote their own insurance to you which doesn't cover you off-road?
It's an oxymoron ....or in the case of some bod in LR ....just a moron 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Perhaps Lri should be invited to have an official representative on the forum who can provide definitive answers.
The customer services girl I spoke to today was very clear that they covered off road and didn't ask how long I'd been insured by them. However, she seemed to imply that the sales deptartment might not be correctly informed. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home
Perhaps this particular thread might be better renamed to attract others to view it and comment? It could be that Admiral in the title is putting others off viewing it?Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Wish I'd seen this 3 days ago as my Admiral policy was renewed. Automatically which I hate I'd rather have a letter than a month old email so I can check over it, and decide if I want to renew with them or not.
But called them last night to see about it. I explained what my job is ( stone dyker ( Waller)
And as I have to go over fields/country lanes etc to get to work I'm covered as I put in for business use on my policy.
Not covered for organised 4x4 events, but I don't intend on doing these anyway.
But they wanted to know of any mods even window tints but didn't put premium up by much even with a remap.
Note to self = keep an eye out for insurance renewal emails and act immediatelyD3 57 xs Stornaway grey

ive had policies where you had 14 days to cancel without penalty
My new Adrian Flux policy has 14 days. It's standard practice as I'm sure it falls under the distance selling regulations!Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Yes you'll get 14 days cooling off. I sold my old D3 out 10 days after renewal and Swift charged me for the 10 days cover, but made no admin or other costs when returning the premium.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Admiral were the cheapest for me and today is my renewal date, however, Adrian Flux have just beat it by £25.
So the question is, if Admiral can match AF price then who do I choose?!
