Why ? My experience with DAB in vehicles is that it is excellent when it's working, but that it drops out frequently. I want reliable radio + good audio.
The former I get from FM & the latter from a player of some sort.

not a real upgrade
may be add the DVD player?
or, perhaps, I leave it as it is
with the money of the DAB upgrade I can make other improvements more useful....

My 2010 XS has DAB. Its horrifically bad though and wont pick up signal and takes about a week to change between stations. I never use it because of this.

If its awful, dare I ask why you want to retrofit it? It seems pretty good now over here, at least it does in every car except the disco.

In Norway the FM transmitted broadcast is terminated during 2017 and DAB+ is the only possibility in the future, thus I am also interested in the possibility to retrofit original DAB in my car.
What parts are required? Activation in the software?

I just assumed as its been like that since day 1 (or rather day 183 when I bought it) then that was Landrovers "design intent". Must try and get a look at a similar aged D4 to see if its the same. Does anyone know why on FM I can store 9 stations but on DAB I can store 6, but on each of 3 channels? What do the different channels DAB 1, 2 &3) indicate?
