Adaptive Xenon Headlamp foreign dip adjustment, where is it?
On my previous HSE I had Xenon headlamps and there was a little lever inside the grey cover which you flicked over to blank off the 'tip up' on the dip beam.
My latest HSE has adaptive Xenons with motors inside the headlamp unit and an extra lamp!
I took the grey cover off to find the lever that I thought should be there and it isn't!
Nowhere can I find any reference to adjusting adaptive headlamps, the instructions in the handbook still maintain there is a lever with Xenons but doesn't mention adaptive!!
My Audi A5 is done via an option on exterior lighting in the user CCF available.
It does, through, give an error on VCDS but that is to not let you forget to switch it back as your 'lighting is on reduced effectiveness' or something similar!
I've had a quick look in the IID Tool CCF menu but can't see anything.
Ideas anybody?

Its defo in there as i adjusted mine a couple of years back, well actually I had to adjust them as I couldnt work out why the lights were so rubbish until I twigged there was no kick up to the left, removed headlamp spent an age on the web trying to find out where it was, eventually found it and got my kick up back, so my car had been in lhd mode ie totally flat beam for gawd knows how long!

It is there it should be in near enough the same place as your other HSE just look in the hand book rather than with the IDD Discovery 3 se gone
Range rover sport supercharged here:)
Well I can't find it!
As I said my old D3 with Xenons certainly had a lever, but this one, because it is adaptive, doesn't have anything even looking like a lever!
The adaptive bit, the motor and plastic gears are all there to see but certainly no lever and nothing looking like it could be the equivalent. The reflector unit inside the casing is movable for the adaptive bit.
I remember on my old D3 I changed it when I first went to France with it and never bothered to switch it back as it was a pain to get without removing the whole unit, admittedly not difficult but still a chore if it was all wet!
OK, I'll take it all back!
I 'think' I have spotted the lever!
You can clearly see the motor, and i 'think' the lever is between it and the edge of the reflector?
Can anybody confirm that this is the same as theres?

I cant remember even with the help of your pics, but even with the lamp off the car it took me an age and Iirc there was very little movement on the lever and I dint think it would do anything it moved so little.
