The problem clearly lies with LR, as they persist in invoicing dealers at the wrong price - even when they acknowledge there is a mistake.
I wouldn't expect to see the website updated anytime soon, but dealers should be able to see the right price on the dealer systems.

Winger - are LR actually invoicing dealers the higher price? Local dealer here checked this with another dealer & they said their invoice from LR for a car with the upgrade was at the lower price (but maybe they checked a RRS rather than a Disco4!)
Have you any recommendations as to how purchasers should deal with this when ordering cars? - if LR are invoicing full price in some cases then there's nothing to show what the "correct" price is
This reminds me of the "variable spec" that seemed to occur with early model D3's , just it has now seems to have been taken a step further with "variable pricing" assisted by a less than perfect website & no available paper brochures

Let me modify what I said - LR have been invoicing at the wrong/higher price. If that is no longer the case, then it looks like the problem is going away. I had to deal with the dealer being invoiced the wrong price on mine - and it appears that a few other members have had the same issue. So, what you say suggests that things have moved in the right direction.
The official price list that dealers can access has been updated. Indeed, the upgrade from halogens to xenon adaptives isn't even an option on the HSE.
So, I guess my advice would be to make sure dealers check the official price list of options that is available to them through the LR ordering system, which will confirm the right price.

Excellent thread- ordered my vehicle with adaptives at the full D4 advertised price- read this thread, challenged my supplier and got £600 refund off the order.... no problems
Many thanks for this and have donated a little to the site (couldn't do a massive amount, the wife thought Christmas had come early and consequently spent it before I had chance to either order some more extras for the new D4 or donate more)
