Adaptive Headlamp - dismantle?
Anyone done it? I'm trying to rectify the old sticky dip-flap issue but I'm stuck at trying to remove the reflector assembly from the main headlamp casing Has anyone successfully done this ? I'm aware of the simpler non-adaptive fix posted recently but the more complicated motor system in the adaptive set up has baffled me completely The headlamp 'adjusters' appear to hold the unit in but unscrewing them just tilts the reflector to contact the housing, is there a third attachment? Anyone know how to release the adjusters from the reflector and get the solenoid switch out?
HELP!!!
There is a recent article on here - as in the last few days I think - though time is moving so fast at the moment, could be weeks! - on exactly what you want - may be in the Wiki already.Mark.
