MOST Adapter for aftermarket head unit in an HSE?

Hi all,

has anybody used one of these to fit an aftermarket head unit in place of a high line radio without getting rid or bypassing the amp?

https://avinusa.com/most-fiber-optic-amp-i...ander.html

Cheers

Interesting....

There's a similar interface from connects2 that includes the amp adapter, the steering wheel controls and the head unit connection cable

http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTSLR009.2

edit: but it's a lot more expensive!

Hm - very interesting...

But that also has the steering wheel buttons and other stuff, the one I posted only does 2 channel cinch to MOST conversion

but at least possibilities are out there for us!

For people who don’t want to replace the HK Logic7 system but would like to have both Bluetooth calls and Bluetooth audio streaming, mObridge manufactures a small module called M2.Connect MOST which does both. The price is equivalent to an aftermarket 2DIN box. It’s inserted as a member on the MOST bus and can be found by pressing the AUX button twice (looks like a satellite audio receiver). mObridge tech support was patient enough to answer all my questions so far.

I’m waiting for mine to arrive... Whistle

Yes, I have the same on mine. See http://www.mobridge.us/sites/default/files...016_V5.pdf for high level installation diagram.

What original head unit system did your LR have?
What unit did you replace it with?

Bit unsure who you mean but my HSE has the Harman-Kardon Logic 7 amplifier and the 6-CD changer.

I did a short write up of the M2.Connect MOST I mentioned above, you’ll find it at https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/mobridge-m2connect-170188.html. It’s quite nice all things considered for BT calls and BT streaming.

Thumbs Up
