Taken from my local paper -
"Redbridge Council are well underway to return Valentines Park to its original design and to protect its historical and water features. To do this the council will have to remove about 560 of the parks 2733 trees."

I'll let them know you're coming!
Seriously though, it does make a mockery of us off-setting our carbon use with 10 or 20 trees when they cut down 600 to put the park back to how it was 'way back when'. And you don't hear anybody complaining about this. Disco 5 HSE Lux

You are right - allcomers put their slant on things just to suit the circumstance and 'the greater good'
I'll make sure I get a GPS position on my beautiful trees - no f er is gonna cut them down !! 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
