Unfortunately when cold some of the atomised fuel re-condenses on the cylinder walls which reduces the effective charge.
Condensation appear when the fuel is warmer then the cylinder interior.
One would have thought that after the first several burning cycles - so a couple of seconds - the surface of cylinder interior is a lot hotter than the injected fuel so no condensation anymore...

Alex - don't forget the polytropic exponent when considering the thermodynamics - the heat exchange process alternates during the compression stroke.

As long as the flux capacitor is working at correct efficiency, everything should be fine. 3 Flash Indicators

Surely it can be easily sorted with a sonic screwdriver
Failing that - a Birmingham screwdriver will suffice

Many of you will have seen how clean the piston/valves and bore are on a car with a head gasket losing water, I wonder if it would be possible to inject some water mist into the intake to clean off the carbon deposits. The issue would be knowing how long to run it like that.IID PRO

As long as the H20 input is correctly phased and syncronised with only the compression stroke, things will be fine
