Not me, although it's right in my manor. Most likely stapldm. You should have dropped in for a cuppa. Yes, Wiltshire is the byway capital of the world!

Simon, Almost certainly was me so Hi! I have Stornaway Grey, orange sticker outside the privacy glass above the handle, and these days a kind of dazed expression along with not too much spare concentration for looking around whilst I'm driving; Sound like what you saw? Very Happy Whistle

Was out looking at a lot of the byway signs, still all shut Big Cry Big Cry

Transgenic tomato anyone?

Thumbs Up We should arrange a mini gathering next time I'm down that way.

Most of the byways I saw on the way to Andover seemed open... but would never have driven them on my own just in case Wink

Sounds like a good plan Simon, although in fairness I'm still waiting to get enough free time to say a proper hops fuelled Hi to Guy too. Sad

Having (a lot of years ago) driven some stretches of the Ridgeway in a standard Vauxhall Nova, I certainly won't be attempting any of those routes on my own either! I did get some very strange looks from horse riders,4x4 drivers, ramblers and probably sheep at the time. Mad. Utterly barking. Don't know why I never ever got stuck.

I live on the outskirts of Chippenham on the road to Lyneham, a few miles down the road from the M4 roundabout. Land Rovers of note that I very regularly see are:

Cairns SE 56reg privacy glass
Cairns S 06reg
Cairns SE 55reg
Cairns SE 06reg (mine!)
Silver HSE 55reg
Green HSE 54reg (uses the nursery at my work)
Silver Base 05reg
Lara Croft Special 110

Most of the above are always dirty Thumbs Up apart from S 06reg and SE 56reg

Anyone on here? I see no stickers apart from mine.

Cairns is popular in Wiltshire then Very Happy
 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:
"Duratrac"
