Hi all,
Im due to get this service done in next couple of weeks going on the milage im doing at the moment. Looking at the maintenance/service checksheets @ item 11, there is a box in the b service column for fuel filter for diesel. do i assume that this means that the fuel filter should be changed at every B service interval? probably silly question but ill be getting a local chap to do it for me so want to know what parts to order when time comes, apart from the obvious oil and air filters!

Yes - 90k = 'B' service
Assuming you have a diesel, you should change the fuel filter, oil and filter, pollen filter and air filter
If the vehicle is 3 years old LR recomend changing the brake fluid, and if it is 6 years in addition to the brake fluid, also the flexible brake hoses.
So - quite a lot
The 'big' one will be the next one at 105k when the front and rear cam belts and ancilliary drive belt need to be changed.
Hope this helps Never get mad - get even !!
06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !

yeah im aware the next service is a biggy alright as a guy at work got the 105k done on his 05 reg few weeks back, so having heard what he paid i best get saving!

ok Dunc, that gives a good guide as to price as the guy at work i mentioned above paid €800, which included everything in the 105k service and few other small bits that neeeded attention! so taking conversion factors your cost about the same.. he uses same dealer as i do for the major stuff.. when i get to 105k it'l be time to take out the vaseline i reckon..
