9000 members should have some clout
I'm new to the site but Ive just realised there is about 9000 members here who have probably spent approx 9000x27000=24 million pounds on landrover machines.
YES £24,000,000............. past custom and possibly new custom or every 3 or 4 years of custom.
yep thats 24 MILLION.......
Question is, with the stregnth of this forum, why do we not have an official feedback loop to the manufacturer???? I'm sorry if we do already.......but as I say I am new to the forum.
The bottom line is we LOVE our Landrovers, best drive Ive ever had on and off road, and we just want to maintain and improve our beloved machines...........without being taken for a RIDE........
There is always positive and negative feedback -- my 07 HSE (35000 miles)has had virtually no performance and functional issues since new aprt, from bluetooth ecu for mobile phone integration which was a pest but not a driving performance issue, and dealer trying to maximise their service revenue by exagerating service items which they could charge loads for.....(which can really be done for 20% of their price.)
I believe any manufacturer would listen to the stregnth of this website if its presented positively, its got to be much better than the so called "customer survey's" I love landrover machines and want trhem to succed.....
So really to the moderator...........Do you think we could have a voice with the manufacturer...??

me ...you didn't mention Scotland in that post 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
djk, you'll have to forgive DG - he's a Welshman living in Surrey I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

seriously, has anyone tried........
This forum are the saavy ones who can give feedback to Landrover to improve and therefore SUCCEED.
The other 90 % of the market dont know any better, have the money and will buy it, but after a bad experiance, wont buy it again.
We should have a direct link to the landrover UK customer services/quality manager, as I say promoting whats good but also feeding back the issues...... : it to the Director of UK sales and service.
I'll bet you he is registered here already anyway ..........
By the way, credit to TOYOTA at least they owned up to a safety fault and are willing to spend billions to fix it. I bet every one of us feel that our car dealers/manufacturers have shoved safety issues under the carpet and havnt been exposed YET.
I for one hold Toyota in High regard for this stance........
Anyway what the do you think..........

I admire your stance but we have to get the economy of scales into account...9000 users here out of 220,000 odd D3 sales ain't going to cut much mustard TBH ...they will play to their mass market ...and if I were to say that it cost over £15m to change the paint shop processes just to spray the arches and bumpers ..then you start to see the insignificance of your figures.
Dealers have to make money to return their considerable investment in property, overheads and kit. I don't agree that they should try to pull the wool over peoples eyes with unnecessary work though....they should be named and shamed.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Well, I see the Gaff has put this in Humour Rants and pointless posts.........
post
Please please please feedback to me -- am I a raving loonatic........... the docs let me out you know.......so I must be okay...... but if it wasnt for Arthur Scargill, Tommy Sheridan, George Galloway,Tony Benn, etc who were willing to push the boundaries, the righteous would never attempt to CHANGE.
Who believes Landrover management want to lose Business and will completely ignore 9000 saavy customers.....................
It only takes a few tens customer complaints to get rogue traders to exposed on the BBC.........
Why dont we make them take there resposibilities seriously........
Arthur Scargill, Tommy Sheridan, George Galloway,Tony Benn, etc righteous
