HI folks any news on 8 speed gearbox flush in hampshire area that one would recomend as i believe geoff isn't available as yet as i dont want to travel 200 miles to jas?Any help would be appreciated.Colin h. senior citizen still learning.

HI folks ,booked in to west 4x4 ,a lot cheaper than keith gott and thats with new filter as well,probably because you dont have to lift the engine to fit new filter with lower labour time.cheers colin h. senior citizen still learning.

hi bazza,west charge is 465-02 including filter change. senior citizen still learning.

If your having a new filter fitted, it’s not a flush you are getting...
A flush is actually cheaper than a filter replacement, and will replace more of the old, dirty oil than a filter replacement... My D3 Build Thread

Hi Blue Blur. The best price I've seen for a kit, new sump, screws and fluid is 236.00 so about 230.00 labour is the DIY saving then.
And of course you don't get to over tighten the sump plug like I've just done.  Disco 4 2012

hi bazza,you are right but i refuse to scramble under at my age anymore back and arthritis problems its just not good for me.cheers for now colin.h. senior citizen still learning.

I had my 8 speed done a month ago in Lancing Sussex at R & G Autocare 01903 764982 (Dave Gregory)
Allow a good morning for the work, the gearbox will need to be quite cool before they perform the work. Just under £400. Made a remarkable difference to the car but you have to allow a few miles for the gearbox brain to re-learn your driving style. My money well spent

hi folks had my g/box filter and oil changed today and the gearchange is really smooth.
Mark said what came out wasn't to bad so i am very pleased well worth doing.cheers colin h. senior citizen still learning.
