7 Year Service dealer /indie recommendations?
So, I've just got around to doing my road tax which reminded me it's coming up to time for the 7 year/84,000 mile service for my June 2014 D4 3.0 HSE.
...and then I remembered how much it is!!!
...so 10 minute later after a stiff drink and a good sit down I thought I better come and check if the collective wisdom of the forum can help.
We moved from reading to Suffolk (near Buy St Edmunds) a couple of years ago - I got last years service done with the land rover 3+ fixed price service at Marshall in Bury which was fairly reasonable. As much as I'd like to stick with a main stealer the 932quid bill has me wondering if anyone can recommend a good indie in the area?
Or given it's a timing belt service do I suck it up and get it done at a main dealer...
Any ideas? I'm off to lay down in a dark room for a bit (I knew it was coming but somehow had managed to push it out of my memory )

Suspect that price isn't the full 7 year service..

And is it both belts? Assuming the D3 has the back one that is.

I should have said it's a Disco 4 3.0 SDV6...
I've paid less for entire cars in the past than for this service!

Reminds me of the old saying:
How do you end up with a small fortune running a D4?
Start off with a large fortune!

Not sure what Mansfield 4x4 are like in Bury itself, I’m in Ipswich and use Motorguru whilst technically a German car specialist Mark who runs it looks after a fair few Land Rovers as well mine included.
