6 speed D4 with flappy paddles now possible
Iv had flappy paddles on mine since I got it in 2011 , but there was no way of enabling this , so mine were connected wirelessly .
Worked in a fashion , but if you changed gear too quick it would throw up a gear box error .
Spoke to Gap diagnostics a while back and yesterday they sent me a new file they had compiled from the L322 / L320 to make it work on the disco .
Changed over the paddles ( as I had modified the ones that were on there ) .. About a 3 minute upload and bingo .. Flappy paddles enabled in the 6 speed box
Shows up in either normal or sport mode
D1 , D2 , etc or S1 , S2 etc
Not out for general release yet .. But they have told me it will be available eventually
Thanks chaps .. Keep up the good workG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

The paddles fit in a recess rather than a simple hole and are located with small lugs to stabilise the switch as they are only held with one central screw, could be done but difficult. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Had this e mail reply from GAP yesterday
Is there anyone who can enable this mod if I get the relevant parts ?.
Hope you are well and thank you for your interest in our tools.
The transmission re-flash which enables the flappy paddles as been available for our professional users for a few months now. At this point in time, it has not been released to the general public but we can provide it to you if needed. Keep in mind that it will only work on vehicles fitted with the SDV6 engine.

Any of the guys on the forum with a Pro can do this.
Depending on your milage it may come with a health warning though. I would not do this on a very high milage box or one with certain fault codes.
