Wonder why the advert says £10,900 plus VAT? It's not a commercial vehicle so why would VAT be added? Just curious as I don't pretend to understand taxation in this country Rolling Eyes

Seems to have some 'extra' lights in the rear bumper and 'extra' green switches on the right hand side of the centre console (for other flashing lights maybe?) so suggests ex emergency services/highways agency or something similar.

Only 12 services in 3 years.... Thats every 20k then if im right which even for a motorway plugger is still a fair stretch for a service and a service every 3 months... Oil and filters aren't that pricey or is it just me that thinks diesels should really be done at 1/2 the manufacturer interval?

Certainly not; oil & filter change every mid-point between manufacturers recommended service intervals without doubt.

The HA must be looking after them. Take Characters D3 - Ex HA and went on to do almost 500k on the original engine.

I wouldn't take triggers broom as gospel as to what they can take before an engine swap is needed...
Ha and characters running of the vehicles is very different from many on here and will undoubtedly help extend any engines life!
