Using the cheapest of cheap parts in a 10 year old runaround is fine. Not what I would want to be doing with a D3/D4
In a 10yr old car cheap parts should be avoided even more in my opinion

Haven't used Ratsones (as referred to by moi) since they did an oil change + fuel filter change a few years ago, supposedly using LR parts but in reality were "equivilent quality" parts. Non LR fuel filter was causing shutdown & ESFs, including in front of a lorry going up a hill on the M6. I will never darken their doors again, never. You need a certain level of trust between the custome and the dealer, that evaporated instantly.
Now Guava, that's a totally different story, for the better.
I've always had good service from my local Stratstones - Solihull. I do know the service guys quite well as it was always in for warranty work during the 1st 15months that I owned it.Mark.

They are the worst in my opinion...nothing but problems and issues there...even LR had problems fixing it with them.Mike
