4x4 info screen: top marks blinking

As part checking the vehicle over this weekend and cleaning it I happened to click the 4x4 info screen on. On it the top marks are all blinking. I’m sure this hasn’t happened earlier as I would have noticed it Whistle

There are no active or archived codes. There also isn’t anything obviously wrong with the driving or handling of the vehicle.

I know the big squares correspond to the height sensors and if one of those would be off it would correspond to a sensor fault, right? And the top/bottom lines should correspond to max/min wheel position, right?

Any pointers what to look for? Appreciate the assistance as always. Thumbs Up

I think it’s common you get this in access mode as things are at their limits I assume.

I would try not to worry Sad

Turning off the engine, going to buy an ice cream, coming back and restarting made it vanish. Shocked

I’ll have to keep an eye on this if it comes back.

yeah I did notice that! Hence the emoji

Are you sure it's not when you have only just powered the car up and only turned the igniton on to I.

At this point the display has no data (like steering wheel angle) and displays poor default data.

Turning the ignition on to II allows the data to come though, the display now shows the correct direction of the front wheels

No, it was still running. I had come off the highway, stopped at a gas station and still had the engine running for a while (like 5 minutes). I’ve tended to do that when driving longer distances at higher speeds.

It's a good excuse to keep buying ice-cream if that makes the fault vanish Wink
