Hi
I went on a LandRover day yesterday and was told that there is a download available somewhere that will enable the 4x4 display on an XS model. Anyone know of this and whether it is in fact available???

 Many thanks, making arrangements to have this done together with voice activation. Does seem somewhat crazy that everything is in there and only needs to be activated.
Next will be to see whether it is feasible to upgrade further with TV/DVD etc

Not really. The features are standard on higher spec models, so it's cheaper in manufacturing terms to include them on all models, and not enable them... ____

Just do it!
I had my XS "unlocked" by Geoff (the southern Wiggs!) and well pleased.
As far I'm concerned I'm delighted that they put all this stuff in as its a lot cheaper to buy an XS and get it unlocked than buy an HSE and get a load of extra toys I don't need! Tony

Yeah, "geoff." did these tweaks to my XS too. (4x4 info; off road Nav; enabled Xenons; and setting to allow foglights to be used without headlights).
All very easy and he even made me a cuppa to boot!

The southern wiggs  believe me i call wiggs at least twice a week and he never fails to answer my calls for help he,s one of the best and a good drinking buddy
