I have a 2013 D4 that is coming up to needing its 4th service, I have land rover extended warranty and was thinking of keeping the service history as all dealer?
is there any point or is it a good idea, as the price is a bit of a shock when I was told it
Any thoughts/ opinions would be appreciated

Hi
we kept our 4th to main dealer, still in warranty and hopefully more chance of "goodwill" if out of warranty and anything dramatic happens
As long as you have done by VAT reg garage warranty should still be good ?
have a ring around then ask them to price match best option
We use Duckworths
(but instructed Not to change pollen and reduce price again by its cost )

thanks for the reply, I have used Duckworths for all the service work so far and cant fault them, even when swimbos freeloaders rear diff went they managed to get it done with a large good will gesture for next to nothing it just seems so expensive to change the oil's and check it over ????

we keep it all landrover so when the crank goes we MAY be in a better position to get a fully paid for replacement engine

I've just been quoted £638 by Duckworths for my 64,000 mile service and £357 from a local garage who have an ex LR technician working there.
I've ended up buying the oil and filter kit myself and getting my local village garage to do it!!
As long as they are VAT registered and of course you trust them the warranty will be fine. My Warranty Direct package is waiting to take over once the LR one runs out! D4 MY15 (64) SE Tech, Loire Blue

Any one got any thoughts on my last post as I think front bushes and rear upper arms being replaced at 60k/4years old is a little premature ? What's your thoughts please or are these prone ?
Cheers;-)
