DSL, no problem re-applying the Torq-Tune remap, may be worth asking the dealers if they updated the engine software as the remap may still be there but the engine is running on a fallback map if communication problems are detected - not 'serious' enough to illuminate the MIL, this may also be related to the suspension fault

Eventually got news from M&D Inverness. I'm getting new height sensors for the suspension, don't know how many or where but that would explain the suspension problems. I'm also having both EGR valves replaced, might explain why I thought TT was not playing, and why I'm getting absolutely woeful mpg (23 sitting at a steady 70 - 75). Any thoughts???

Hopefully get the car back Wednesday or Thursday, ready for SLROC GRR. Thumbs Up

Good news, the car is back!! They replaced 4 height sensors and the LHS EGR valve got replaced. Car is back to it's old self, looks like the EGR valve killed the performance. Looks like the SLROC green lane run is on for me! Thumbs Up

Hi DSL, great news, but I'm confused (for a change Wink )

So does this mean that your EGR valve failed whilst the D3 was in having a service?? You didn't mention anything, but I guess it was OK when you dropped it off....

Did they mention why they changed 4 height sensors? These things are pretty simply devices and not that prone to failure....it seems weird that they would change all 4 at once and try to pass it through LR as a warranty claim (which would probably be rejected unless it was LRs idea)...

Iain - can you explain a bit more about the 'fall-back map' that you mention? If they reprogrammed the ECM wouldn't it overwrite the TT instead of the original map? How does it work?

Cheers chaps,
Paul

Paul, was fine before went in for the service, drove like a mule with fleas on the way back. Just waiting on the right valve going to hopefully get it done under waranty.
