4 Wheel Alignment - Central Scotland
Gonna stick my new D3 in for a wee trim up on the alignment and wondered if anyone had recommendations as to where best to head to for 4 wheel alignment and the costs?
Would probably prefer to stick to a dealer as I'm going to ask them to check the bearings etc while it's there incase of any issues to be fixed by the seller/warranty.
cheers

CLCM on Sighthill Industrial Estate in Edinburgh did mine; top bloke
Depending on what your having done, you might need to have it put I to the tight tolerance mode. Speak to Andy at Whites Landrover in Edinburgh, be can do this for you; another top bloke
Thanks

Alighnment
Hi
By the time you pay to have it locked down then adjusted then unlocked youre not that cheaper going to an independant your as well as taking it to the main dealer with no hassle, but if you dont mind the running around and the xtra fuel then the independants are fine both the companies mentioned know their stuff so you wont have any problems,I would trust them before I would trust a main dealer.

I use Shields in Glasgow for all my servicing, like almost every dealer there are upset customers but I have never had a problem with them and they do go out of their way to help, and I didn't even buy mine from them. They also work the allegiance scheme, just make sure you ask them for it. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Cheers Dave, I've been to Taggarts to have the caliper looked at as it's more conveniently placed for me to get a lift if it needs to go in at short notice. They have treated me pretty good so far, long may it continue!

I put my TDV8 RRS into them for an alignment check as i was experiencing irregular tyre wear, it came out feeling as if it was driving on ball bearings. I gave it to the service manager to drive and after a road test he drove it straight back into workshop and gave somebody a right good .
I totally lost confidence in them, up to that point i'd thought the workshop to be pretty good.

Hi guys,my indie LR guru recommended CLCM to me but said he had to put it into tight tolerance mode first, then after alignment take it back to be restored to "normal" mode.Just wondered if anyone has had CLCM do the whole thing to save me 2 stops ?"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
