4 Wheel Alignement recommendations - west of Scotland |
|
The tyre wear on my D4 suggests it is badly needing alignment adjusted.
Two new tyres going on tomorrow so keen to get alignment checked immediately afterwards (the tyre fitters don't have the facility for 4WA).
Anyone got any recommendations in west of Scotland (I'm on south side of Glasgow) ?
Thanks

I have heard that Pro Grip in Larbert are excellent and does a lot of Land Rovers 4 wheel alignment. He is not cheap but does an excellent job on castor, camber and wheel alignment and has a website.

My local garage recommended McConechy's in Thornliebank on the basis that they had invested thousands of pounds in the latest alignment equipment.

I took my wife's Golf GT TDi 4-Motion there and just pitched up without an appointment. Great service and if I remember rightly they do the check - give you a printout, then ask which wheels you want correcting based on how bad they are - you only pay for what needs doing, not for the check.
I'd recommend them, and am indeed doing do !! 1981 Unimog U1300L (ex German Army vehicle
