3rd brake light not working
hi all
wondering if anyone here has had 3rd brake light failure
the side brake light work ok
just the central one not functioning,
can't seem to find a correct for to check for the lights
can anyone help
also i have halogen light in the front and in the last 2 years i have replaced the headlight bulbs 6 times
the side light 4 times
any ideas would be greatly welcome

update
hi all
i went to the dealers today to check on the brake light
turn out the brake light assembly is faulty
and its bonded in!!!
need to order the part and will take whole day for the bonding to cure!!!

Hope they aren't having you over a barrell for the sake of a bulb! regularly blowing bulbs may be down to an alternator overcharging its control unit on it's way out could also be poor earths.

I had the same problem a few months ago. The entire unit needs replacing and bonding in, rather like a new windscreen.
The total repair price was £168 plus vat at a main dealer. Incidentally I have a warranty direct extended warranty which covered the repair as it was failure of a unit rather than bulb failure!

just to let you know
had the unit replaced under warranty today
took 5 hours in total
had to let bonding set.
