OK... so many of us now will be looking toward their 30K service.
Have been quoted £370 all in including VAT etc etc...
Does this around the right ball park with quotes from others ?
2K miles to go before she goes in for her health check and pampering session.

Mine is in next Friday, not been quoted a figure but I have asked them to use Land Rover branded 5w 30 instead of the £85 worth of whatever it was they used at the last service.
My car has had front pads, and needs rears, so expect your brakes to need attention. They are easy to change yourself if you want to save a bit of dosh.

I have been quoted £385 from a main dealer for 30,000, (at the time I had 15,000 done)
but it is not a firm quote, more of an indication as he quoted me £238 for my 15,000 and I wrote it down, so when he charged me £270 I reminded him of my quote and he reduced it. Now he doesnt want to be drawn on a firm price several months ahead.
I think I will ask again, but think I will actually go to an independent who has serviced all my LRs. Nov '54' TDV6 SE Manual 25,000 miles - Excellent !! Don't buy an Auto until you have driven a Manual !!!!
