300 mile round trip...not a bother
Just finished a 300 mile round trip to Derbyshire from the North East during storm Arwen (we got caught down in Derbyshire with family and had to drive back through it) and the D3 was absolutely spot on.
The new all terrain tyres worked a treat, especially picking the dog up from the kennels up a farm track in the snow, it just kept pulling along and not one slip.
The missus isnt bothered, but I'm dead chuffed with Disco. ☺️Black D3 HSE
Stock...currently.

They are great cars to do a long trip in... my longest so far is Mehtlick in Scotland to Kotka in Finland in a D3 with three cats in the back I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Longest in D3 in a day for me is 850 miles, N of Malmö to Chunnel. Not quite beating my prev record of 1050 miles in a day though.

I did 1,650 miles last week, and have been doing close on to 1,000 miles a week for the past few months.
If i had to have done that in my D3, i would be on my way to bankruptcy.
The Skoda Octavia is giving me anywhere between 60 and 67 miles per gallon on these runs and for that i'm grateful.

Mk3 Octavia 1.6 tdi, brilliant fuel efficient engine in a reasonably light and aerodynamic estate car.

SWEEEEEET name to call your Octy.
Skippy, my Karoq is averaging just over 50mpg, the eauiv driving in my D3s or D4 would be around 26mpg. Planet saved, mainly through no trips to the garage to get things fixed!!
