Hey Lads!

Looking at getting new rubber for the D3 and i see a lot of posts saying that the biggest tire to fit to a standard D3 without rubbing is a 265/70R17.

My question is, is this due to rubbing on full lock or up/down travel?

My reason for qestioning this is, if its just a case of a bit of a suspension lift to fit bigger rubber, i would happily do it Smile

Any help with this would be great!

Cheers!

Why do you think it blew? Was the tyre rubbing?

What size were your tyres please

245/70 17

Didn't actually blow it just delaminated, no rubbing and very little off roading on this set.

Looks nasty Paul, how many miles have they done ? Do you think it might be the heat - given you live in hot climates these days?

Not that many Pumba, only about 15 to 20,000, have done a little research on them and it is not an isolated incident in fact there are more incidents than you might think.
