My 06 D3 which is finished off to a decent spec, re-mapped and looks the dog danglies has done 60000 miles.
I have the chance to swap for a 59 plate D4 same colour 245 bhp... I can make up my mind... Never driven a D4 but love my disco 3 is it worth the extra £13000 on top of my D3 to obtain this D4? I cant stretch to anything better than a GS which i know some people will not even entertain but at end of day its a D4 right?
What are your thoughts shall i stay or shall i go??

if your D3 is an HSE and you are looking to change for a D4 GS - I would stick with the D3 - the D4 engine is great, but the extras on the D3 HSE against a D4 GS mean its not worth the upgrade IMO
I was looking to change my D3 for a D4 GS but decided against it. a D4 HSE or XS is a different discussion though Duncan

The D4 engine and gearbox (even the 2010 model) is simply streets ahead of the D3 It's what the D3 shoudl have been all along! - go and test drive one at your local LR dealer to see for yourself
