2015 DISCOVERY 4 SUNROOF LEAK

Hi all , my discovery 4 is leaking both sides front and i have stripped out the A pillar trims, sun visors and grab rails, once i pour water into the sunroof gulleys, the water just runs inside onto the headlining by the front corners by a bracket with some rivets. i cant see what this is unless i strip out the complete headlining . Does anyone know what the fix is for this please?

Plenty of sunroof threads on here to read!

I would guess from your description, possible blocked drains. Take off the side wing vent grilles, poke some strimmer wire carefully up the drain grommet.

Sunroof

hi , thanks for your reply. the tubes are in tact and not blocked, its leaking from the actual corners of the sunroof imediatley above the headlining and i cannot see any removeable parts. im thinking the cassette is going to have to come out to fix it.

The top joint where the rubber drain hose connects to the sun roof have come off for a guess, this is usually caused by someone trying to hard to unblock them, drop the front corner of the head lining down and you should see it and be able to push it back on, you may need a long pair of pliers or forceps, don't assume the pipe is not blocked behind the front wheel arch as well.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
