2014 on xenon headlight bulbs

Are they d3s bulbs like the earlier D4 with xenon (haven't got my new 2016 yet so can't check the handbook)? I've got some new d3s bulbs that I was going to put in my 2010 and am wondering whether to keep them as spares or flog them on.
