Does my 2012 SDV6 HSE D4 have heated seats question
Ok so in Zurich we bought an immaculate 2012 SDV6 HSE D4, which was originally purchased and spent most of its life in Rome. Now its cold and I have just dumbly realized it has no heated seat switches. Is it possible that it has all the kit but not the switches and how can I check please ?

In chilly Britain, heated seats were standard. Perhaps they were only an option in sunny Rome. You should be able to look up it's build sheet and options list on Topix from its VIN.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

I don't know much about Disco's yet - just about to purchase my first one (commercial). However, this is a vehicle I was looking at, but didn't buy - someone has retrofitted heated seats switches behind the cup holders, so maybe there are elements in the seats already???

Would've thought you'd be able to look for wires and see where they go...
If I get chance later I'll try and take a photo of underneath mine so you can compare.
Mines an xs not use but has heated seats so wires should be visible.

From TOPIX (you can get some functions from it for free just by registering)

Note "LESS SEAT TEMP CONTROL" in the bottom right corner. It was built without heated seats.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

yes question is whether the heating pads are in the seats or not, so would very much appreciate an underseat pic of the wiring from someone who has heated seats. Glad to see I have cornering lamps but haven't driven it too much in the dark yet but I can say they are not as obvious as my 981 Boxster, where the lamps dart all over the road with the steering wheel

OK this looks encouraging as 8 out of 9 connectors are wired up under the seat, thoughts please ?

Its says.... "LESS SEAT TEMP CONTROL"
Its does not say "LESS HEATED SEATS"
So good chance the pads are in the seats I think.

I'd lean with your seats having heated pats ...
but the HVAC panel may need to be replaced - mine did when it didn't have those buttons as it didn't show seat strength.
