Only did 4 miles down the A3 at 50mph - never got out of sixth I think -but it felt seemless and smooth and undetectable auto changes - I presume because the ratios are so much closer to each other and they blend much better and I'm used to BMW six speeders which are very smooth anyway.
Yes, everything seems to show on centre instrument console TFT screen incl Name of CD & Tracks or Radio program. I think the Sat nav turns show but wouldn't swear to that as I was too busy flapping away
Sorry just haven't had the time to drive anymore distance (don't use Disco for work) and spent last night trying to do the ruddy photos for you lot rather than driving

Peeps, it's my file sizes that are wrong re posting the pics, couldn't get the Bucket shop to work either as the Site wouldn't accept the URL. But see the "new wheel" in my gallery which is a much smaller jpeg.
Too dark now to do internal shots as the flash bounces of the screens etc. Will do my best with some tomorrrow I know you're champing for them Sorry
I was just basking in the delicate glow of a mass of console lights. And the dimmer dims everything including the Nav screen - which I don't think it did do on 2011, someone was complaining about that.

Wiggs strikes again!
Where do I buy a pixresizer from? Should I PM you wiggs
Don't forget I can't POST mine into my gallery yet to then be able to resize on Site. The wheel is a LOW res original which I could upload - the others I can't.
Or am I up the creek again? If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Clive
Clive, can you confirm that the dimmer also now dims the instrument binnacle lights? on the 2010 RRS I borrowed last weekend it did not, and I found the speedo/revs and other binnacle displays very bright indeed.

Wiggs to the rescue yet again
Try my gallery "2012MY PICTURES." Few duplicates but worth a look. I'll keep 'em coming.
Gareth - YES as far as I could see every cabin light dimmed incl ALL the mood lights; instrument binnacle; Touch screen; steering wheel; gear knob;terrain control; window switches. And to my eyes by quite a degree from full on to fully dimmed. If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Dinsdale - interesting to note that the buttons for the cruise controls & phone controls on your steering wheel do not appear to have chrome edges, yet on the more basic (non leather) wheel fitted to our new Crew Cabs here in Ireland, they do!!!!

Mine has always done this too even on the navigation screen so long as the brightness control is not set to full on....

Nope Harry - they are definitely not chrome. Subtle matt black - Maybe that's the NEW UPMARKET CHROME on the HSE
Certainly can't spec it
Did you see my reply to your V5 query too?
Any one like me to try a photo of anything SPECIFIC now I've worked out how to upload the damn things?
