2012 D4 key fob batteries, how long did yours last?
How long do people find key fob batteries are lasting in the 2012 model year style? The one I normally use has just come up low on the dash after almost 3 years, tried the other one and that is dead totally and was hardly used.
How much are the batteries? How long will they last once the warning comes up?Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Mine didn't last long at all. I changed them late last year in both handsets.
Give Geoff a shout as I'm sure he bought a few when he sourced mine

I get Duracell from eBay - I just bought a box of 10 for just over a fiver
Make sure you check the expiry date the seller quotes and get as long as possible.

3 years, when the first came up to say replace, I did both at the same time. D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.
