Our 2011 HSE Santorini Black
We sold our RRS 4.2SC before leaving the UK as we were moving to Romania with work. The RRS sold quick (day 2 on autotrader after receiving a call 1 hour after the ad went live!) but was gutted to have sold it - I loved that car!

Anyway...
Arrived in Romania and wanted a 7 seater family wagon. Research showed the Q7 was poor in the snow. As we will get lots here, this made the big Audi a bad choice. So, went after the D4. After viewing what must have been every used D4 in Bucharest, and some D3, I could not find a single one with the 7 seat option.
So, instead we have 5 seats, but love it. Power bit different to the last one, but it does what it needs to.

Have just ordered a few things for it - will take a week or so to arrive, and with work travel, will be a few more weeks until I can fit them all:
V nice - add the rails and side steps and looks exactly like mine
I thought the rails were standard on the HSE but obviously notD4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

Yes, seems Romanian spec is different to UK spec: no rails, no front parking sensors. I also think it's the less powerful 3.0 engine.
Bought parts from lrparts.net as they offer international delivery. Smaller things I can pick up as I travel to UK every 3 weeks or so with work. I used that option for tow straps and winter car kits a couple of weeks ago.
Not ex-mafia staff car... Ex-LR Romania company car. Sat nav memory shows it's travelled between here and Germany a few times.

...went with Thule roof bars. Found a pair of Aero bars on ebay - didnt want wing bars as they require t-track fittings, and wasnt keen on wind noise on the squares. Had the Aero bars on the RRS and liked them.

So my London trip didn't materialise, and so roof bars sat at the in-laws waiting for me...
Rest of the stuff has arrived - sill covers fitted last night, roof rails, side steps and mud flaps are a daylight job and have plans this weekend already. Guess it will all sit for another week or so before I get to it... just want to get to it before the cold weather kicks in!

First snow...
Finally got some snow. About 4-5" overnight then nothing the next day. All pretty much gone now.

Still, I'm well prepared for when the real snow arrives!
OEM mud flaps are pretty poor. Some series 3 flaps may be on the car soon... Have seen a template for cutting rears but not much detail for fronts. Anyone know if I can buy them pre-cut for fitting to a D4?
