2010MY 6 speed auto Gearbox Failure - Looking for specialist
So my D4 has betrayed my trust and had a fairly spectacular gearbox failure.
I've recovered it to my mum's house in Surrey where it is residing on a trailer. Ideally, I'd like to get underneath to diagnose properly what's broken but it was such a pig to get onto the trailer I can't face taking it off. I lost drive and it has dropped a lot of gear oil out (I am assuming it's gearbox and not transfer box.)
Where would the group recommend for a transmission specialist in West Surrey or east Hampshire who knows D4s.
I don't fancy going too far as I'm borrowing my mum's P38 as a tow vehicle and it's fairly scary at anything over 40mph!2010MY Disco 4 HSE in Ipanema Sand over Almond.

Thanks for the recommendations chaps.
Both a bit far for me to tow the disco. It's rather hairy behind the P38.
I will have to go down the route of getting it diagnosed locally and if it is the gearbox as suspected, I will take the unit itself to Re-Engineered (I go through Essex fairly regularly).2010MY Disco 4 HSE in Ipanema Sand over Almond.

I had my gearbox reconditioned through these peeps in Hailsham. She was good as new afterwards for the few thousand miles before the engine blew up.
