Hello,
I might have figured it out. I cleaned the transmission earth points (behind the right headlight you will find two earth points) and after that no more faults. They were rather crusty. As it is intermittent though it might just be an unusually long time between reoccuring faults but I hope not... I changed the battery as well as it was bad when tested.
