Yup. All of the above. If I'm unlucky enough to just do short journeys (<10 miles, <20 mins) then my mpg is terrible and I'm lucky to get to 20mpg.
On longer runs and being careful with the old right foot, I can easily achieve high 30s mpg but it's no fun driving slowly like that.
So.. I would say there's nothing wrong if you have already checked for brake issues. Low mpg is just what happens when you do short journey in the winter.D1 300Tdi - gone
