Hi Norto,
Saw a D3 the other day with BFG A/T's on 17"rims. The tyres were sized 245/70/17, basically 10mm wider.. Looked very neat & had been off road..it was pewtred. D4 Alaska/Almond 2.7 TDV6 with E-diff & extra's..
Keep smilin' Pete.

Norto,
It was definately a D3. It was a L/H/D from Germany & he had brought 2 tyres from Alice Springs of all places, stopped in at our dealership to get a battery replaced. We had a good look at the vehicle as we dont see many L/H/D variants with extra options. It was a good vehicle to drive also.
He had replaced the wheels with 17's from an "S". He was driving a HSE with an air suspension adjustment, an extra 28mm above nromal. Very Intriuging. D4 Alaska/Almond 2.7 TDV6 with E-diff & extra's..

Norto,
Forgot to add 16" rims cant be fitted to the D3, the brake caliper & disc shield get in the way. D4 Alaska/Almond 2.7 TDV6 with E-diff & extra's..

Mightabeen 245/70R17. They have an overall diameter of 774mm, which is only 11mm greater than standard and thus within legal requirements. Have a nice day!
