105K service in Surrey
Hi Gurus
I am looking to have the dreaded 105K mile service done in May and would like to know if any one in the Surrey/Hamp area has any good experiences please? I know the belts will need doing as well as the other bits running from them and have seen some very different prices across all areas. £450-£900…
Any help and guidance appreciated.
Huggs.

If u want to do main dealer Guava (Godalming) get a big from me. Cheaper than your normal dealer rates and you get a "club" discount for frequenting here.

When I enquired with Guava about a 105k service they wanted more than £1000 AND they wanted my car for two days. 2021 BMW iX3 Premier Edition in Carbon Black ⚡️🔌

Give James, Charlotte or Will a call at Guva and mention Disco 3 forum.

I think Stratstone are still offering their 105k service with belts for £599, don't think they're that close but might help from a price match perspective

Stratstone are still running their offer but, as has already been suggested in another thread, they do not use genuine/OEM parts.2021 BMW iX3 Premier Edition in Carbon Black ⚡️🔌

Hmm, interesting!
Mine's in today, so I'll have them confirm.
The car is still covered by LR extended warranty which I think specifies genuine parts should be used for all service / repair work. They could put themselves in a pickle if I had a subsequent claim and they hadn't informed me they were using aftermarket items.

This is all very encouraging as mine is booked in to Guava for a service on Monday. Didn't know about the possibility of a forum discount though...any indications of how much?Darren

As some already know, I had a 105k service done at Stratstones for a good price.......... But.
The bolt they replaced, that holds the fuel pump pully snapped after a few thousand miles as it was either over or under tightened resulting in major body off repairs! Ouch!
The only company that gave me confidence in doing the repairs were Guava. A top, top company!!
So, think twice about a certain main dealer doing a better job for a cheap price. It's not always cheaper (as we know) being better.
Stratstone did contribute 50% of the bill from Guava. If forum member Geoff didn't service my car, I would be taking it to Guava.
big up for Guava.Giggity - Giggity

Car back today, asked if Genuine or aftermarket parts used and got confirmation that only original LR parts were used.
