If buying a new vehicle now, it is best to check that it is a 2006 model. As there may still be 2005 model vehicles in the pipeline (at least there were a couple of weeks ago) and as the transition was in May, you have to wonder why they have not been sold before this (problems?).

I'm starting to wish my car was full of issues and not nearly perfect (now I have added cup holder and Settings Menu) so I can get a brand new one... will be One Year Old Dec 24th.
Not far now.

I've got an SE - is the quickest way of telling whether I have an 06 if the parking ticket holders are absent?
Also when did 06 production start? Thanks

Do I have the first Disco3 Birthday coming up? Nov 29th - anyone get theirs before that?
Mine is almost perfect except the tyres. Love it to bits - highly recommended.

Good question - there's something under the boot. A bit dark to check now but my invoice mentions a full size spare as a fitted option.

Can anybody confirm whether the "06 SE" has still got Bi-xenon head lamps as standard. On LandRovers build your D3 page it shows them as an extra but on there D3 spec they show them as standard. I know that the "S 06" now has the bright pack instead of Bi-xenons but the "SE" had the bright pack anyway. The 05 prices and the 06 prices seem to be the same, no reduction on the "SE" for loss of specification.
Also does anybody know if Adriatic Blue is available on an 06 D3 as Landrovers web site does not list it on the overview of exterior colours but shows it on the choice of colours when you go onto build your D3 pages.
Thanks
